Inspiring landscapes

Slovenia boasts an impressive and diverse forest landscape, with dense woodlands covering over half of the country. These expansive green spaces are primarily composed of beech, fir, and pine trees, providing a cool and shady retreat during summer and a stunning display of autumn colours. In mountainous regions, the forests seamlessly transition into alpine meadows, offering breathtaking vistas and supporting a rich array of biodiversity.

Respect for nature

Slovenia possesses a rich naturalist heritage deeply woven into its history and way of life. A profound commitment to conservation drives Slovenians to cherish their natural environment, evident in the extensive protection of forests, national parks, and nature reserves. Respect for nature is fundamental to their identity and is cultivated from childhood. This ecological awareness manifests in sustainable practices and a collective passion for outdoor activities, positioning Slovenia as a paragon of harmony between humans and nature.

One of the greenest countries in Europe

As one of Europe’s most forested countries, with over 60% of its territory covered by woodlands, Slovenia boasts a vast forest mass. This extensive forest not only contributes to the country’s natural beauty but also plays a crucial role in supporting a rich biodiversity.

Diverse scenery

No matter where we photograph, the emotions will be extraordinary. Slovenia, though small in size, offers an astonishing diversity of ecosystems, resulting in a rich variety of stunning and unique landscapes.
